Why We Started
Every year, around 160,000 students in the UK resit GCSE English or Maths — and over 50% end up with the same grade again. We realised it wasn’t effort that was missing, but individual attention.
In most tuition centres, students are taught in large groups. It’s efficient for the business, but not for the learner. Students hesitate to ask questions or fall behind quietly. We wanted to fix that by creating an environment where one tutor builds a real connection with one student, tracking their progress every step of the way.
Our Mission
We’re on a mission to make high-quality, personalised education accessible to every student. Since launching, 90% of our A-Level students achieving A or A*.
Every lesson is built around the student — their pace, their goals, their challenges. Whether through weekly academic support or intensive exam prep, we focus on relationships first, because real learning happens when students feel understood, supported, and confident to ask questions.
Our 1-to-1 Philosophy
Unlike most tuition providers, we don’t crowd students into the same group or rely on generic worksheets. Every lesson is private and adaptive. Tutors learn how each student thinks, where their confidence drops, and how they process information. It’s personal, structured, and entirely focused on the individual.
We’ve seen that a single hour of one-to-one tuition can be worth several hours in a group setting — because attention, conversation, and mentorship make all the difference.
